Savannah Belle Bouquet Company, Upper floor, Gulf City Mall, La Romain.

For the young and young at heart couples that may still be liming each other before settling down a recommended spot is the Savannah Belle Bouquet Company for the romantic type there is floral arrangements and perfumed oils for the limer that you are liming at the entrance to the cafe.

The cafe it self has a very homely vibe and gives off a welcoming French almost Parisian Patisserie and their cakes are nothing short of enchanting. Each slice is a delicate masterpiece, a symphony of textures and flavors, crafted with the finest ingredients. The sponge is ethereal—light, airy, and melt-in-your-mouth tender, like a whisper of sweetness that lingers.

There's a subtle elegance to every detail: a dusting of powdered sugar that glistens like snow, the gleam of glossy fruit glazes that catch the light, and the gentle curve of a perfectly piped swirl. Each bite is a delicate harmony of flavor—smooth vanilla, tangy citrus, decadent chocolate, or fragrant almond—creating a dance of sweetness on the tongue.

These cakes are like little indulgences of joy, meticulously designed and overflowing with artistry. Whether it’s a buttery financier, a tangy lemon madeleine, or a decadent opera cake, each creation carries with it the spirit of French pâtisserie—refined, charming, and utterly delicious.

The customer service was excellent, the clientele, diverse as T&T can get and the prices on the cakes and coffee are reasonable, inviting long conversations and great ambience.

Grill on The Hill and Hole in the Wall eatery recommendations

It is Christmas season and everyone is shopping and Trini Limers Crew headed to what the  girls referred to as their favourite "Hole in the wall" restaurants in Trinidad and Tobago, Grill on The Hill in Marabella is one such place, That is in the northern part of the City of San Fernando on the Southern Main Road just before the Marabella Police Station. We were warmly greeted by a kind Indo -Trinidadian man in a well - dressed in traditional Muslim wear  suit and quickly seated and greeted by a well groomed polite and well spoken Afro -Trinidadian youthful waiter who laid out the cutlery for us all, Mind you Trinidad and Tobago as little islands as it is to the Metropole larger nations can still boast a diversity and interracial harmony found no where else in the world. Grill on the Hill restaurant offers a  diverse mix menu and you will find your favourites here with the exception of a curry .  The idle banter before our long wait, but worth it for the ...
