City Wok loses it's Founder Mr. Sharma Basdeo

 


We bid farewell to Mr. Sharma Basdeo, Founder of The City Wok and Co-Founder of Jenny's Wok in San Fernando who was a Resident of the Gulf View and Coconut Drive neighbourhoods, died today.
We entered The City Wok Chinese and Steak house and was kindly greeted by a well spoken, well mannered, well dressed and well groomed Male waiter of  Indo -Trindadian  descent, The decor has been updated if any of the younger persons remember when It was known as Jenny's Wok and featured 1990's decor, It is very modern with a 2020's style but they kept the Bar Counter Spots, Shout out to Chippy Laing's Family, we enjoyed beers on your company logo and was often teased in Gulf View, Coconut Drive and Palmiste as promoting the Yellow and Black colour branding with our Yellow Car.😇
