Hard Rock Cafe opens doors in Gulf City Mall - Trinidad

It's a rainy Thursday evening in the height of the Christmas season after a long hard day of working in Port of Spain,
Trini Limers Crew, a group of loosely banded Food and Drink Connoisseurs  headed to the nation's Industrial Capital of San Fernando, more specifically To the new Hard Rock Cafe in Gulf City Mall.
Hard Rock Cafe entrance is located near the North East Entrance to Gulf City Mall, close to the Gulf View Link road and can be accessed by the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway via the Golconda Interchange and Connector road and then down from the Cross Crossing Interchange on to the South Trunk road and then turn right into Gulf City Avenue.

The car park was filled to capacity and as we entered Hard Rock Cafe to Starship's "We built this city on rock and roll" we were greeted by a group of ever helpful and happy waitresses who could be starlets themselves in a musical group.

We were seated and immediately our waitress was ready to take our order.
Five minutes later after looking over the Menu and taking in the ambiance of the group of steel pan looking ornaments on the ceiling  we were surprised that the 65,000 persons retrenched from the oil and gas industries had not dampened anyone's spirit and love for rock and roll music and Hard Rock Cafe was filled to capacity with the exception of the VIP area with a lone feller staring down at his cellphone.
The music is mostly American with a mix of British Rock music with Local Trinidadian Rock Musicians in their line up for example Shockwave on the 14th of December 2019, Calypso and Chutney music genres are being featured also.

The drinks and mixed drinks are reasonably priced however the Food menu is very upscale especially the entrees and main courses which feature a mix of American,Tex Mex and Caribbean BBQ, There are options for Rib eye steak lovers, Sea Food lovers and in the same breath Vegetarians with numerous salads.
The food is very tasty and the promise of using local spices was kept.
All in all it was a very pleasant experience and the staff were warm and friendly.

De One Chinese cuisine at it's Best. The Covid-19 Pandemic Health Restrictions has been fully lifted and fewer persons aside from those with serious comorbidities are still wearing medical masks in The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and despite the spike in killings and what could be considered a civil war in other countries, with murders and home invasions occurring daily, Trini Limers Crew has dodged the bullets to resumed our mission to Review some of the new offerings of  Food stalls,Eateries and Restaurants and local made Coffees . The T&T Economy seem to be recovering and while hunting for a park in ever crowded Gulf City Mall, a tanty and her mother in a Military Green Colour Toyota Aqua EV offered No.1 parking as we ironically pulled in to dine at  De One Chinese Restaurant, you can't make up this one folks! Anyhow as we walked down the newly cast stairs and took the elevator to the first floor of Gulf City Mall and turned right and was greeted by a Statue of a S
