Anyhoo,

So on a busy Friday the 26th of  July 2024, pay day, exactly 34 years after Muslim militants stormed the Red house in P.O.S we dodged bullets to bring you a mid-career review of 519 during a Happy hour.

Firstly our Hostesses of various backgrounds were very courteous and made me proud to be a Trinbagonian in how professional their hospitality was at 519 Social hub

We were provided with Menus as we enjoyed the modern ambiance of  the 519 Social hub at the Courtyard of C3 Mall, S.F.D.O.

Happy hour tested our forever young

Liming state of mind, flash backs of my teachers asking why does this place sound like a fish market.

We ordered two Chef's Pepper Platter with a range of meats and seafood with pepper fries (They do specials) and a Lemonade and Hawaiian Volcano cocktails.

Our server Danielle was so very courteous 10/10, we became impatient but the wait was worth the while as the food was amazing and this is a local restaurant and bar.

We put on our Wine and Cheese tasting professional hats after seeing the bar.

The food was so amazing we forgot to snap a picture!

I Scream for Ice cream, Gulf City Mall, Gulf View, La Romaine,City of San Fernando. Welcomes Soody's ice cream shop for locally made ice cream, coffee and desserts, they have joined the ranks of Willie's Ice cream, TCBY Treats, Gelato ice cream shop, to have graced Gulf City Mall. It is accessed from the North Tower Parkade and you can take the futuristic elevator to the 1st Floor and exit towards the west and look for the sign. The prices for ice cream range from $25 and up with as much as 15 flavours to choose from all made with local ingredients, I got the $73 Chocolate Milkshake although one of the  ladies that served me recommended the caramel. When I arrived the shop was empty but with in seconds the floor was packed with parents and their children and singles and the odd couple and the rare Guerilla Gardener Tanty passing through that sold me the Jahaji Bundle diet, a two bundle of bodi to curry and eat with some Sadha roti later.
